Sustainability
Passionate in supporting the integrity of our untouched region, we continuously focus on our own sustainable methods whilst supporting local partners by opening year-round and helping the destination benefit both locals and visitors.
Locally Sourced
Wherever possible, we purchase products that are organic, in season and locally sourced. We have fostered great relationships with local independent owners – whether it’s bread, artisanal gelato, fruits, vegetables, meats or fish – we buy our direct from the locals. We partner with the best producers and experiences in Le Marche – from wine, cheese, truffle, olive oil to local pasta makers – we can continue to keep these traditional methods alive, and help support their income at the same time.
Drinking Water
We have invested in filtered water throughout the Estate so guests can drink with no need to perpetuate the use of plastic bottled water.
Rain Water
All rainwater is collected into our 8 water wells and underground reservoir. This is reused for to keep our Estate garden green & fresh. .
Solar panels
We have invested in solar panels to help reduce our carbon footprint. These help heat the hot water system on our Estate.
Heat Exchanger
Our heated pool functions through a heat exchanger, which uses the outdoor air to reduce the consumption of power.
Recycling
We recycle all plant waste where possible in order to re-purpose this back into the land as mulch.
Olive Oil
We produce our own olive oil each year from the harvest of our 400 olive trees. Some of our trees go back over 100 years old.
Organic Fruit & Vegetables
Our commitment to sourcing food as locally as possible starts with our own grown organic fruit and vegetables. Each year we grow apricots, plums, lemons, lime, peaches, apples, pears, grapes and wait until you see our huge fig tree. Our purpose built vegetable garden fosters the following each year: rocket, spinach, salads, cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes, artichokes, green beans, onions, herbs, asparagus, aubergine, courgettes among other items.

a month agoWe had a fantastic yoga retreat at the Oliveto Estate. The house is beautiful, the scenery so picturesque and the calm environment is perfect. We heard beautiful birds singing as we did yoga. The swimming pool was divine. Everything was so clean and the cleaning staff efficient and friendly. The ladies that taught us to make pasta and prepared our delicious meal were amazing too. Had a fabulous time.

a month agoOliveto Estate isn’t just a villa, it’s a sanctuary. Returning here feels like stepping back into a space that holds you, supports you, and invites you to slow down. Every corner is thoughtfully curated, every room welcoming, and the flow of the living spaces makes it a joy to dine, rest, and simply be in different areas throughout the day. Waking up to the rolling Italian landscape is something I’ll never forget. The onsite spa with its sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room adds a layer of deep restoration, and the gentle walk down to the yoga studio feels like its own inner journey. Coming back up to the waterfall pool, with soft lighting woven through the trees and the house, is pure magic. The sound bath was a particularly special experience. The space was held with such care and knowledge. Fresh towels and a spotless stay made everything effortless. We’ve spent hours floating on the pool bean bags, already dreaming up our next retreat. A true home away from home.
