Stayed here in February. Got picked up from El Nido airport and taken to local pier where a boat took us to the island. Very friendly staff. Resort is amazing, stayed in one of the Hive Huts. Really spacious with a mosquito net. Food really nice and good selection every day. Lots of drinks to choose from and free drinking water left out to help yourself 24/7. Showers surprisingly lukewarm considering its off grid. Perfect island resort for snorkelling (can borrow snorkelling gear for free), especially through the jungle on the other side near the shipwreck. 100% be back in the future!

This visit is completely unnecessary for several reasons: - The facilities are far too basic for the price: In the premium teepee, the shower floods, it's infested with ants, there's no lighting whatsoever, the mosquito net doesn't cover the bed, so we were covered in bites, dogs bark all night, making it impossible to sleep, and there's no hot water. - The restaurant has a maximum of two lunch/dinner options (both extremely basic and meager) and completely exorbitant prices. Since it's the only option available, you just have to accept it. All dishes cost over 590 pesos, and you end up paying 500 pesos for a mango dessert, when on any other island you'd pay 20. The coffee is awful. - The room's cleanliness (photos attached to the review). - It's worth noting that there's often no other food available because the resort staff eat before you and finish everything. - Transfers from El Nido to the hotel cost 1500 pesos per person, which is also completely exorbitant. Payment is cash only. We don't know what the experience is like at the other resorts on the island, but our experience at Dryft clearly leaves much to be desired. You expect a premium experience (based on what you pay), and it's in no way better than other hotels in the Philippines that cost a quarter of the price. Regards,

We had a day trip to Dryft and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, the venue was comfortable and appealing. We enjoyed snorkelling then ate a delicious coconut seafood curry for lunch. Being low season, we almost had the beach and restaurant to ourselves. With near perfect weather, the view from above the restaurant was wonderful. Thank you to Angelica, your wonderful chef, and the attentive staff. It was a very special day and we will definitely be back!

Dryft is genuinely one of my favorite places in the world. This was my second time here, and somehow it felt even more special. The island, the beautiful huts, the simplicity of the place, the nature, the energy and, above all, the people make the whole experience unforgettable. I spent my entire stay in the Philippines here this time, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They took such good care of me and always made sure I had everything I needed. At this point, coming back doesn’t really feel like returning to a hotel — it feels like coming back to a family. I also loved being here during the rainy season. The weather changes throughout the day, with rain, fresh air and beautiful breaks of sunshine, which makes the island feel completely different and allows you to enjoy it without being under the intense heat all day. And the food deserves a special mention — everything coming out of the kitchen is absolutely delicious. The quality, the flavors and the care they put into every meal are genuinely outstanding. Eating there is part of the Dryft experience in itself. For me, Dryft is my little paradise on Earth. I carry this place, its energy and the people here very close to my heart. I already know I’ll be back.
