Savista Retreat is a passion project of the Rishyasringa family, a family of royal lineage with strong spiritual and intellectual underpinnings, whose origins run deep into an ancient time. The present descendants of this lineage who own Savista are in residence at this estate, and are actively involved in the setting up and upkeep of this boutique property. They are an academic couple with global educational and work experience, and an impressive output in their subject specialties relating to the environmental, developmental and cross cultural dimensions of India’s history and growth in the evolving world context. Their places of study and work have included: Jaipur, Mumbai, New Delhi and Ahmedabad in India; Sussex and London in the U.K.; Geneva and Stockholm in Europe; and Boston and Washington DC in the U.S. Their intellectual kit and value-based approach to hospitality has shaped Savista Retreat’s dominant characteristics of eco-responsibility, community integration, experiential travel and wellness.

5 months agoThe food was actually amazing, didn’t expect it to be this good! The room was cozy and clean, and I slept really well. It just felt like a comfortable and relaxing stay.

5 months agoVery nice, relaxed and with Personal Charme. We were there for a private cooking class and enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the experience! Being at the local vegetable and spice market was also very cool.

6 months agoLast week was the second time I stayed at this charming boutique hotel just outside Jaipur, India. The location is private and quiet. The food is the most amazing you will have with no worrying about what you are eating. The cooks and the service you receive is top notch. The rooms all have individual decor with lovely traditional furniture. Everything is clean and lovely. If you are interested in any kind of tour, local workshops, local sights, as well as yoga and masssage…they will help to plan everything. I highly recommend staying at Savista.
